This National Workshop aims at revisiting the key concepts, guidelines and procedures for populating the Philippines NTR (PNTR) with the relevant trade-related information, stoke-taking on the current degree of PNTR operationalization, particularly with respect to the process of identification, classification and upload of NTMs, in the all-important area of Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) regulation. The focus of the Workshop is on preparing the NTMs uploads to populate the ATR with and to do so by providing practical training to the relevant line agencies. Ideally, at least one representative from each ministry or agency or body that plays a key role vis–vis the TBT area of regulation should participate to the this National Workshop.
The workshop is held in Makati City (the Philippines) for two days, 4-5 July 2019.
