The workshop will be held in Phnom Penh on 4 – 7 December 2018.
The objectives of the workshop are to:
- Strengthen the understanding and knowledge of Customs intelligence and investigation process and techniques;
- Outline main requirements for strengthened implementation of Customs intelligence and investigation functions;
- Discuss international and regional best practices in the field of Customs intelligence and investigation;
- Provide policy guidance for strengthening of Customs intelligence and investigation; and
- Identify present level of development of Customs intelligence and investigation functions at the Customs administration concerned as well as priority areas for further technical assistance in this field.
