The workshop on AEO was held on 24 ? 28 September in Bangkok. ARISE Plus provided Technical Assistance and organization with the support of the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, the ASEAN Secretariat and the Thai Customs Department as co-host. The workshop aimed to:
- Provide Customs officers from ASEAN Member States (AMS) with the necessary knowledge and skills to establish AEO Programme especially for those AMS who have yet to establish;
- Serve as platform for AMS Customs Administrations that implemented AEO to share information and best practices on how to establish/enhance existing AEO Programmes; and
- As a way forward to realize the AEO implementation in ASEAN region.
