Joint WG 2 – EWG-OA Workshop on the Development of an ASEAN Sectoral MRA for Certified Organic Agricultural Products was held from 9 to 10 September in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
The workshop followed a workshop of the EWG-OA held on 18-19 July 2019 in Thailand at which the participants made specific recommendations on the development of an ASEAN Sectoral MRA for Organic Products. Members of WG 2 and members of EWG-OA were invited to participate in the workshop.
The objective of the workshop was to discuss the potential cooperation between the WG 2 and the EWG-OA in the development of the proposed ASEAN Sectoral MRA for Certified Organic Agricultural and in its implementation. The workshop participants from WG 2 and the EWG-OA were able to exchange views and identify the scope and manner of potential cooperation.
